I am learning to make a prediction based on the cover and the blurb of the book, and the lyrics and the trailer of the movie. I found this tricky because it has been a long time since I have done predicting. My next step is to predict more and add more detail.

I was learning to name shapes and understand the features of the shapes. I found this tricky because a don't know much about geometry and 2d and 3d shapes. My next step is to learn more about 2d and 3d shapes.

I have been learning to write a persuasive speech.
I found this this hard because i don't know much about minecraft and all of the features weapon tools and most about writing a speech.
Something i learnt was that in a speech you are meant to use peel paragraphs that means ,evidence,explanation,point,link.
I felt nervous because i don't like to stand in front of people.
My next step is to use PEEL paragraphs.

I am learning to measure with a ruler. Measuring with a ruler is pretty tricky for me because there are different ways to measure. I found this tricky because i have never measured before but i have only measured with my hands and feet.

I have been learning about matariki. Matariki is when people get together in there families. Matariki is normally celebrated in late May or early June when matariki is celebrated people make kites'star's'yummy food. I found this tricky because I don't know that much about matariki.

I have been learning to write an information report. An information report needs to have a beginning middle and conclusion. It includes facts,and be written in present tense. I found this tricky because i had to find a lot of information and i am not use to find information. My next step is to add more ideas and information.

My Reflection
I have been learning to write  a variety of sentences to use in my stories to make them more interesting for my readers. My favorite sentence type was the stop and dash sentence because it was i bit easy and fun to do My next step is to use a variety of sentences because i am not that much of a different sentence user.

I have been learning to find and summarize information by choosing the most important information. Summarizing is taking the most important stuff and say it in your own words. I am learning to respond to text using my prior knowledge and experience. I found this a bit tricky because I didin,t know the right words. My next step is to improve more in getting the right words.

My Reflection
I have been learning to use the statistical enquiry cycle to carry out an investigation. My investigation was to find peoples favorite computer game.  I was surprised that it was easy for me because I already knew how to do some of it. I know now that people need to vote for one thing instead of 5 or something. My next step is to use a different way to show my data.
