I was learning to sort animals in their correct habitats. I learnt to sort animals because I saw them in their correct habitats. It was easy because I saw animals at the zoo in their habitats.

Estimate and Measure

We were learning to Estimate and Measure things. I learnt to measure with centimetres on books pencils and other things. It was easy to measure because I already knew how to do it.

Matariki stars.

On Monday room 12 went to room 15 because we were making matariki stars. We used wool and string that had different colours. After that we coloured the sides with different coloured vivid.

Summarise beginning middle and end

I was learning to summarised beginning middle end . I learnt to summarise because I didn't know how to. 

Add bonds to 100

I was learning to ad bonds to 100. It was easy to add up to ninety with tens and 10 with ones

Alphabet brainstorm cross country

I was learning to write topic words. I can use 5 senses to describe a topic. It was tricky to find words in the alphabet for cross country.

Multiply by using repeated addition

I was learning to use repeated addition. It was easy to retell the numbers and plus them and multiply numbers.

At the Buddhist Temple we learnt about the 4 gs. And we learnt how to wash a buddha three times.

I was learning to identify feature the non-fiction texts. It was easy to find out which part was which because I have been learning it.

I was learning to use place value with 3 digit numbers.   I learnt to match the hundreds tens and ones.    It was easy because I already knew it.

I was learning to make inferences and make a guess using the clues. It was tricky because it was my first time doing  it.

Welcome to my year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in room 12 and my teacher is Miss Lister.  I enjoy coming back meeting my friends.  This year I am looking forward to learning new things I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of comments and feedback.
